The largest manufacturer of insulators in Poland

ZAPEL S.A., operating since 1939, is the largest manufacturer of porcelain and composite insulators in Poland. It offers a wide range of products, including linear standing and hanging insulators, station support and bushing insulators, and apparatus support, bushing and casing insulators.

Insulators for electrical equipment manufacturers

An important item in the production program of ZAPEL S.A. are insulators manufactured to order of individual manufacturers of electrical devices and equipment. This group includes covers for switches, lightning arresters, voltage and current transformers, voltage dividers, capacitors, cable heads, high-voltage fuses, etc. The products can be supplied in the form of assembled insulators (ceramic parts with mounted metal fittings and other details such as pins, spark gaps, etc.) and in the form of ceramic parts alone.

Reliability

High operational reliability, expressed by obtaining and maintaining the required parameters, mainly in terms of mechanical strength, electrical strength, resistance to environmental exposures (atmospheric factors, pollution) – is ensured by using appropriate design solutions, high-quality materials, parts and semi-finished products, as well as modern machines and devices and manufacturing techniques.

The insulators we manufacture are standardized products that meet the requirements of both national and international standards. This ensures their wide applicability as insulating and structural components in power networks and substations, as well as in the construction of electrical devices and equipment.
